While channel surfing what is the strangest thing you ever came across and stopped to watch?

On Ice Road Truckers last night, how bad was Lisa's crash? I was channel surfing and missed it? I was hoping she would do alright. I really liked her a lot. I saw the truck beginning to jack-knife, but they went to a commercial. I flipped the channel and didn't catch all of it.

Anyone else end up channel surfing during that horrible Jerry Springer segment on Raw last night? I ended up watching Family Guy re-runs then went online, read the RAW results and then went to bed. I can't wait for March 8th, though, because if Raw is boring, I'll switch to TNA and vice versa. It was sad watching the wrestlers chanting "Jerry" instead of the crowd.

Ntl question- whilst channel surfing last night i noticed that the adult channel was different than usual? I am not subscribed to any Adult channels at all so when you click on them it tells you to press red or on demand! but on 1 adult channel the screen was blue with a message saying "to view this channel you must enter your pin number" this makes me think that it must be free to view at the moment but there is no way of putting in my pin number? What's the cable TV with the lowest channel switch delay? I hate delay when surfing channels on TV. One second is acceptable, anything more than that and it becomes annoying. So I was channel surfing the other day...? and I happened to come across this minister. There was nothing else on so I figured...why not? I listened to this guy talk about the death of Christ and something caught my attention. He mentioned the nails that were driven through Christ's hands severed the median nerve. Apparently when this nerve is severed, it causes the most horrible kind of pain one could ever endure. Question: How would this guy know the median nerve was severed? Obviously he wasn't there and there is no evidence to prove otherwise. It is impossible to prove the median nerve was severed, so this minister lied during his sermon. He bared false witness. He broke a commandment in church. These people are supposed to be giving you the word of God. Is the word of God a lie?

Is this indictative of bias? Channel surfing I find that CNN, MSNBC, NPR, and the other "liberal" outlets are still talking about Spitzer and ignoring Obama's racist minister Jeremiah Wright. Are they always behind the cutting edge by 72 hours or don't they want to talk about Obama's questionable judgement? To tank utopia... that's the bias. When you get a bunch of like minded people (liberals) together they are all blind to the same things. It doesn't work well in intelligence gathering or the news business. Lets put this to bed; Yes, news outlets are in the business to make money nowadays despite the fact that they sign a document for their license that says that they will work in the best interest of the public. My point is (and all you Bush bashers will love this) if you have a room full of people who believe one thing like the existence of WMDS then you will be unable to see anything else. If you have a room full of liberal minded democratic supporters then you will very likely miss an important and money making angle in the news cycle. It seems to me the FOX news has a diverse pool of reporters who each have their own interest in the news. You get a better product and a more balanced product. I do watch the other news shows for my news. I find it humorous (not really) that when I channel surf the above outlets it almost looks like I'm watching the same broadcast on every channel. Obama only disavowed SOME of the things that Wright said. Just like he ONLY disavowed the anti-semetic remarks made Louis Farrakhan. Only the anti-semetic ones, not all of them like the ones regarding whites. Since Obama has finally admitted that Wright has indeed said what he said why hasn't Obama come up with a better reason for staying with that church for 20 years. His reason; I never heard him (wright) say these things when I (Obama) was there. Sounds more like Bill Clinton than an agent of change.

LG TV Turns on by itself and channel surfs? I've got a 20" LG 20LS7D flat panel TV. We've had it for over a month now and have recently moved. Previously the TV was hooked-up to a Comcast Digital Cable box. Everything worked fine. When we moved, we hooked-up to the existing Dish Network system in the house. Now the TV will randomly switch itself on. Sometimes it channel surfs on its own or will just turn on to channel 70 or something along those lines. I've tried power cycling, leaving the tv unplugged for a day (both from the wall and from the back of the tv at seperate times), taking the batteries out of the remote, turned off all the timers on the tv and sattelite box, etc. None of this seems to work and the TV keeps doing this. LG has nothing on their forums worth any help. Other than a ghost (which I've checked into ;-) ), what might this problem be? Has anybody else had this experience? Thanks!!!! Matt

LCD TV with a Faster Channel Change Response time? I recently bought a Toshiba 22" LCD TV for my bedroom. It Takes 15-16 seconds (between channel changes) before the channel display disappears. Has anyone experienced this and is this normal or do I have a dud? Can you recommend an LCD TV with a good picture and faster response time for people like me who like to surf channels? Surfing channels and ran across MSNBC last night, is it common for them to show such bias? I don't usually watch that channel, but last night i was surfing and ran across a Keith olberman show(although some woman was filling in for him) and I watched for about 15 minutes. I learned that John McCain is somewhere in between Satan and your average bumbling idiot, where as Obama is the man, he does nothing wrong, they went on for 5 minutes about how he is not a flip flopper, and is somewhere between Martin Luther King Jr. and Jesus Christ. So the question is, are they always this blatantly bias in their "reporting", or was this just a one time thing that just happened to be on while I was watching? What ever happened to journalistic integrity, or how about just plain honest reporting?
