I currently only kite jump and land-buggy, but I might look into kite surfing in the near future. IS kite surfing a very good idea? Some of my family is planning a summer vacation (no plans have been made haha) but we were thinking of some things to do. What Kite Surfing Kite is best for me? G'day. I'm 16. I am a beginner. I've pretty much taught myself on an 11m Wipika Matrix C Kite. However, its getting old, i seem to be putting more money into it as something always breaks. I can Kiteboard out and in to shore and upwind most of the time, and i can relaunch my C kite (which is a pain in the ass) - just to give you a bit of an idea of where i'm at in terms of skill level. I look on the internet and I see soooooooo many brands and makes of kites and I don't know which is better or worth the price? Should i get a new one? second hand for less money? Basically, I want you to give me a brand, make or whatever kite that is perfect for me. I dont plan to go in over 30kts of wind so preferably a 9m or something. I only weigh 55 kg and i just want the kite suitable for me. I was thinking of buying a new 08 model or 09 model because they're prices will probably shrink due to the 2010 models coming in. Where shall I go for a month that is hot and I can surf/kite-surf? I have a month off work coming up in about 2 weeks due to a change in jobs. I would really like to use this time to get away. I want somewhere hot and where there is stuff such as surfing to do. Do not want just a beach holiday (I get bored after about an hour of just sitting on the beach!) and want to go out of Europe. I will be going on my own (although seasoned traveller so not worried about that aspect) and have a budget of about £2500 to include spending money while I am there.
